The Apple iPhone 7 has been a hit among many smartphone consumers, but with some rumors and potential leaks being circulated, it seems that many are also already excited about the upcoming iPhone 8.

According to Mac rumors, the iPhone 8 is expected to be launched in the fall of 2017 and would be undergoing a major revamp.

When it comes to overall physical design, the first major rumor about iPhone 8 is that it would not be having the Home button which has been present in all the predecessors. Apple might consider slimming down the bezels for iPhone 8 as per Value Walk.

From the display perspective, another major rumor is that Apple could introduce on of the variants with OLED display. With A large screen display thanks to the rumored no home button, the screen, the screen resolution and pixels per inch could be higher when compared with iPhone 7.

Under the hoods, when the Apple iPhone 7 is powered by quad-core   Apple A10 fusion processor, the new iPhone 8 in all probabilities would be powered by A11 fusion processor clocking at a faster rate. From CPU speed perspective, the iPhone 8 should be beating its predecessor at least with a small margin.

As in the case of previous iPhones, the iPhone 8 should be having higher RAM capacity, internal storage capacity than the current Apple iPhone.

When it comes to cameras, the iPhone 7 comes with a 12 MP rear camera and a 7 MP front camera.  The iPhone 8 is expected to come with higher MP cameras for both rear and front.

As in the case of previous iPhones, the battery capacity should be higher in the case of iPhone 8 when compared with iPhone 7.

With most reporting that Apple could relinquish the home button on the iPhone 8, there is every possibility to see a better model next year. For now, the iPhone 7 can continue as the darling for most shoppers.
