Asus seems to have changed many perspectives with the Zenfone 3 as it now seems to be targeting flagship smartphones and stepping into a territory where brand value has a big meaning more than anything else. Here is a quick comparison of how the Zenfone 3 fares with another 2016 flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia X.

The Asus smartphone is taller, wider, and denser than the Sony smartphone according to the Phone Arena. It also has a slight sleek design than the Sony smartphone.

Coming to display perspective, the screen size is larger for Zenfone 3. However, the Xperia X has the higher Pixels per Inch among the two.

Looking under the hood, the Sony Xperia X is powered by 1.8 GHz Hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 whereas the Asus Zenfone 3  is powered by  2 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.It seems that Asus model has faster CPU speed and also the better capability of handling multi-tasking applications.

The internal storage of the Asus Zenfone 3 is twice bigger than the Sony Xperia X model according to NDTV Gadgets. The RAM capacity is also higher for Asus model. However when it comes to expandable storage capacity, the Sony Xperia X hold the edge against the Asus model.

Sony smartphones are well-known for their camera specs. While the  Asus Zenfone 3 comes with  23 MP rear camera and  8 MP front camera, Sony Xperia X comes with 23 MP rear camera and 13 MP front camera. From the specs, Xperia X wins the contest.

Asus Zenfone 3 has a slight edge over the Sony Xperia X smartphone when it comes to battery capacity.

With its latest offer, Asus has definitely made a  great competition with flagship smartphones. With competitive features like storage capacity, better screen resolution, users definitely have a new smartphone to look up to.
