Earlier reports suggested that "Pitch Perfect 3" might debut without Anna Kendrick and that the lead actress may be replaced by "High School Musical" lead star Vanessa Hudgens.
However, lately some sources confirmed that the Barden Bellas will return on a big screen with its lead original members as they have already signed up for the third instalment.
Now there were rumors circulating on the web that fans may wait a little longer for the movie to be released as the production might be postpone because of Kendrick's very busy schedule.
The musical comedy is expected to start its production on January but it is said that the actress will also be busy with the promotion of her latest movie "Table 19." With this, rumors are rife that the launching of the highly anticipated musical film may be delayed.
It can be recalled that the "Pitch Perfect 3" release date was moved to December of next year when it was originally set on July 2017.
Meanwhile, according to Pink News, Kendrick jokingly said that she wants to have a "passionate lesbian sex scene" in the most awaited "Pitch Perfect 3" with Brittany Snow.
"There's a specific fandom that ships Beca and Chloe, my and Brittany Snow's characters from Pitch Perfect, so I feel like it would be a real betrayal to not choose Brittany."
"I mean, our characters are pretty much in a lesbian relationship. As far as we're concerned, they're secretly in love. We've joked that there will be all-out passionate lovemaking in the third movie. Too bad we still need that PG-13 rating."
However, she clarified it right away that she is not gay.
"Oh, man. I'm such a straight, cis, Boringface McGee over here, so I love that that could be even a little true. The idea that I'm resonating with other people who have ever felt like outsiders is the coolest."
Speculations about the "Pitch Perfect 3" are still to be verified. Anna Kendrick, on the other hand, had her first ever book entitled "Scrappy Little Nobody" available in the market.
