‘Prison Break’ Season 5 2017 Release Date Postponed After Continuous Delay in Filming? Michael’s New Escape Plan To Take Down ISIS?
Kirsten KaneFans of "Prison Break" are very much excited for the return of the much awaited FOX crime drama series which is expected to premiere its Season 5 in Spring 2017.
However, there were rumors that the production work has been continuously delayed due to some problems involving the cast, which might eventually postpone its release.
Reports are rife that the upcoming TV show will be more exciting especially that the setting of the story takes place in Yemen jail. Michael Scofield is alive and is said to return along with Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) who will help make an escape plan for the latter.
Speculations have it that the Yemeni Government and the ISIS have been targeting Scofield, however, he may have faked his death to get away from them and contacted T-Bag (Robert Knepper) for his escape plan.
"Prison Break" Season 5 is reportedly a conflict of power and connections, as ISIS and the Yemeni government deal with Scofield and the rest of his group. Some reports claim that the series will disclose a very powerful organization in which Michael will also be involved.
It has been said that Scofield will successfully get out of prison and may get to reunite with his estranged wife Sara. However, other reports suggested that ISIS will find their way with him and may cause danger to his wife and son.
Furthermore, there have been rumors circulating on the web that "Prison Break" will have a new villain in the upcoming Season 5. According to iDigitalTimes, T-Bag is likely to turn bad and might probably betray Scotfield.
"While T-Bag was an ally at certain points in the past, he's proved time and time again he can never be fully trusted. He may be a friend at first in Season 5, but he's easily persuaded to evil agendas especially when they benefit him."
Another speculation is that a major character will be killed off, and its either Sara or Lincoln.
Meanwhile, it has also been said that new characters will be introduced in the upcoming season, Mark Feuerstein, is one who will play as Sara's new lover and Kunal Sharma who will take the role as Sid, the inmate of Michael.
"He's artsy, wired - and in prison. His offense, despite what his docket says, is solely being gay," according to Deadline referring to Sharma's character.
