Namco Reveals Two New Returning Characters in Tekken 7

The two returning characters are Bandai Namco's early Christmas gift for the fans. They announced that Kuma and Panda will be joining the Tekken 7 on its release in 2017. Reports also say that an online tournament is set in place. 


Kuma and Panda


Kuma has been part of the game as Heihachi Mishima's pet whose loyalty to his master is proven by still taking care of the Mishima Zaibatsu even after believing that his master is dead. He was then later on regarded as one of an essential member of the Tekken Force.On the other hand, Panda appeared in Tekken 3 as Ling Xiaoyu's pet, best friend and bodyguard. She was taught advanced fighting in order to protect Xiaoyu. It is also interestingly revealed that the two have different fighting styles in this new release. Panda focuses on air launching techniques while Kuma's moves mostly juggle the opponents. The video trailer that includes the two newly revealed characters went viral as excited fans are talking about it widely. 


The New Online Tournament Environment


The much awaited Tekken 7 will also include an Online Tournament Mode that will allow up to eight different players from different parts of the world in an online environment. Namco confirmed that Single Eliminations and Double Eliminations are two of the options available for the fighters. Gamenguide.com reported that a spectator is also included. The tournament entry is secured by passwords. Contests prizes include in-game money and in-game items that excites the fans very much. 


WCCFTech revealed in their report that Tekken 7 gamers should look forward to the return of few more characters in the next few months. Avid fans of this famous fighting game are anticipating a lot of revelations in the next few months including their own set of favorite characters that they wish to see in Tekken 7. 


Tekken 7 is set to be released in early January of next year, along with PS4 and Xbox One and PC.
