2017 is a big year for Apple as it would mark the 10th year anniversary of their flagship smartphone, the IPhone. This is why numerous pundits believe that Apple is preparing to launch an IPhone like no other.

Numerous tech and gadget community sites have come up with their own rumor threads as to what revolutionary features will the IPhone 8 have. IPhone 8 rumors will continue to sprout like mushrooms as 2017 draws closer.

As always, Apple is tight lipped as to what they are cooking in Cupertino, but many experts believe that the tech giant will continue to take the wireless route. Apple is said to take its wireless game a step further. The tech company has just introduced its Apple AirPods late this year and speculations for wireless charging have been swirling in numerous IPhone rumor mills.

Another IPhone 8 feature that has been in the wish list of many users is the further improvement of its screen. Experts believe that the home button will be removed in the Apple IPhone 8 as the smartphone will have an edge-to-edge screen.

One more design feature that experts see the next IPhone will have is a curved Oled display similar to those seen in Samsung smartphones. Abandoning the use of LCD and shifting to Oled display seem to be a practical step for Apple as Oled display is now considered as the gold standard in display technology. Oled screens are more energy efficient and offer a crisper display compared to the LCD that the IPhones currently have. Furthermore, Apple has already obtained patents for technologies that will pave the way to curved Oled screens.

The improvement of Siri, IPhone's virtual assistant, is also eyed especially since Samsung is believed to introduce its own improved virtual assistant in the upcoming release of its Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone.
