Gloven Ramos

"Game of Thrones" is undoubtedly the one of the best drama series of all time. Millions of fans throughout the globe are loving this series. So what will happen when this series ends, though there are still two seasons left?

Fans will be surely pleased to hear HBO chief executive Richard Plepner say that a separate show is likely to happen. HBO confirmed it is an advanced talks over the "Game of Thrones" possible spin-off.

Plepner told the Hollywood Reporter about the show and that there might be some brand extension that would be exciting. It certainly has not escaped the producers.

If a spin-off does happen, fans will need to wait until the current series ends. However, let's assume that it is confirmed, what part of the story would be a good spin-off then? With the varied and detailed history of Westeros, here are some ideas for the said spin-off:

The birth of the White Walkers

The origin of the White Walkers appears in the sixth season on Bran's flashback. This ancient monsters were created by the Children of the Forest thousands of years earlier to the current era of the "Game of Thrones."

The Baratheon rebellion

The "Game of Thrones" drama series began when Baratheon is on the throne. All the fans know how Robert and Ned rebel against Aerys II Targaryen and start the civil war. Robert eventually won the war and sit on the throne after the Targaryen's falls.

The rule of the Mad King

The rule of Aerys II Targaryen has no wars for the throne like the current "Game of Thrones" series, but it would show all the chronicles of the mad King's brutal executions. In this era, fans would also have a glimpse of their favorite characters in their younger years, like the Lannister siblings, Ned, Robert and maybe also Daenerys.

The doom of Valyria

According to The Week, the Doom of Valyria would make for exciting television, as catastrophic volcanoes and earthquakes destroyed the city of Old Valyria and wiped out most of the dragons. The city was seen in the "Game of Thrones" season 5 when Tyrion and Jorah Mormont sailed to Meereen.

There's actually a lot of stories and perspective in the series that could make an amazing spin-off. However, there's no official announcement for the planned spin-off. Let's just wait until the series ends and see the producers' decisions. Moreover, the seventh season of the show is scheduled for summer next year.
