Techies can expect many new additions to LG's smartphone line in the coming year. The new set of devices is going to bring a lot of interesting features to the market.

GSM Arena writes that LG announced the new additions to the K series line, called the K3, K4, K8, K10, as well as the Stylus 3 phablet. The news came as a surprise, since experts were expecting the announcement to happen at the Las Vegas Annual Tradeshow CES, which is set to take place in Jan. 5, 2017.

The new K10 will reportedly have a 5.3 inch HD display. Running on 2 GB of RAM, the K10 will have two variants: one with 16 GB of storage and the other with 32 GB. Meanwhile, the K8 will be slightly smaller than the K10. It will have a 5 inch HD display and run on 1.5 GB of RAM. It will have 16 GB of storage. Like the K10, the K8 will operate on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The K4 and K8 will have the same size for the screen. However, the K4 will have lower resolution compared to K8, using only 854 x 480 pixels. In addition, it will only have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. However, it is expandable up to 32 GB.

The K3 will be the smallest in the line, measuring only 4.5 inches. It will have 854 x 480 pixels of display. It is the least powerful, using only the Snapdragon 210 processor.

According to Android Authority, the highly anticipated Stylus 3 is said to be a stellar new device that will provide a more powerful performance compared to the previous LG models. It will utilize the MediaTek MY6750 processor, powered at 1.5 GHz. The phablet will run at 3 GB of RAM and boast a resolution of 1280 x 720 on a 5.7-inch display.

In addition, the Stylus 3 will include a fingerprint scanner to ensure security and privacy. It will have a storage space of 16 GB, powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.

Fans can expect to see the phones during the upcoming CES at Las Vegas in Jan. 5. Pricing details have yet to be announced.
