The Cleveland Cavaliers, 2015-2016 NBA champions, are in hopes to defend and succeed once again as NBA champions this season. But due to the injuries of their key players, the team ought to trade new players for their roster and fill in the gaps of injured players.

Key players include sharpshooter J.R. Smith, who broke his right thumb at the Bucks game. Another would be Chris Andersen, who was out with a torn ACL. With these injuries creating a hole in their roster, the Cleveland Cavaliers may need to sacrifice in order for the to defend their championship title, especially when arch rival Golden State Warriors is up the charts with their deadly roster of superstars.

Will Barton averaged 20-25 minutes per game and 14.4 ppg off the bench with the Denver Nuggets and has received quite a few votes for Sixth Man of the Year. Though an expensive deal, Cavaliers still consider him because of his productivity and versatility.

Jahlil Okafor, Philadelphia 76ers' center, can be a good addition to the team with what he can do in the post. He would be put in the second unit with Shumpert and Jefferson where he can freely use up the post at will.

Sergio Rodriguez, a veteran point guard for the 76ers can be considered for his steady and consistent position in the court. With 8.8 ppg, 6.1 apg, and 35.1% from the three-point line, surely he can be of good use. 

Ricky Rubio, a tremendous point guard of the Minnesota Timbewolves can help the Cavaliers in playmaking, which gives a better opportunity for players to score at ease. This trade is fairly beneficial for both sides.

Kosta Koufos, Sacramento Kings' center, gives a fairly low cost, which can be an easy and solid add to the team with him backing up Tristan Thompson. He averages 10.5 ppg and 10.6 rpg.

Deron Williams from the Dallas Mavericks also gives a low cost, which can be an easy deal with the Cavaliers. He's a veteran point guard who can contribute greatly to the team.

Monta Ellis can be a great impact for the team in replacement for J.R. Smith with his injury. Though a hard deal, players like Shumpert and Frye can still trigger the trade.
