The wait for the highly anticipated "Attack On Titan" Season 2 release just got even more exciting. Funimation Entertainment, which recently acquired the airing rights for the second season in the Canadian and US markets, recently released the first trailer for the season two.

Based on the first "Attack on Titan" Season 2 trailer clip, the fans may expect an action-filled season up ahead. Apparently, an important part of the plot next season will deal with another breach of the colossal walls that kept the mindless titans out most of the times.

This time, however, it will be a part of the Wall Rose that will be breached endangering humanity that lived within. As shown in the trailer, the titan threat will come from the south. A horde of these gigantic creatures, who must have passed through the breach, is shown as they race for the human population in search for someone to devour.

The military is then sent to contain the situation. With their vertical maneuvering equipment, the military does their best to take down as many of the mindless bloodthirsty beasts as they can. Fans will no doubt recognize some of them which includes Eren Yeager, Mikasa and Armin, writes Comic Book. The titan's side is well-represented as well. The powerful shifters Colossus and Armored Titans are seen among the attackers.

With the recent confirmation of Funimation's acquisition of the rights to air the second series, fans are finally assured that it would indeed be arriving after a considerably long wait. However, the company is yet to announce a definite "Attack On Titan" Season 2 air date, but it is expected to be aired simulcast with the series' Japanese release by April 2017.
