"Jurassic World 2" is still over two years away, but the team behind the much-awaited sequel has not ceased to tease the fans on what to expect. Given that the new movie is considered the follow-up to the 2015, there seems to be more to the title as per the team behind it.

Being the supposed fifth installment in the "Jurassic" franchise following the "Jurassic Park" saga, "Jurassic World 2" has big shoes to fill after a successful release of the Colin Trevorrow masterpiece. Director J.A. Bayona aims to please with his on-going revelations on the sci-fi continuity.

According to The Playlist, J.A. Bayona said that after his work on "The Impossible" and the blockbuster sci-fi drama "A Monster Calls," he wants to have some fun with the powerhouse franchise established by none other than Steven Spielberg. He wishes to make the dinosaur movie bigger than the last one, with potentially darker, scarier and grimmer approach.

More intriguingly, Bayona stated that there will be a catch for "Jurassic World 2" that makes his job a little more complex. His goal is to make "Jurassic World 2" a "Jurassic Park 5" as well, with his own touch, as reported by Independent.

He said, "I think what is tricky about doing the fifth movie of a franchise is how you will bring in new stuff and still pay tribute to what we all know and the legacy of the film. So, it's the balance between the new stuff and the old stuff. I think Colin did a great job in the first one finding the balance between what people are expecting and what people are being again."

Bayona added, "I was kind of surprised when he pitched me the story because it leads the story to a place that we've never seen before and it brings some of the most important elements from the other films and makes something with them. I thought that was very interesting. It's the second chapter of a trilogy so it gets the story to a place that wants you leaving more and more."

"Jurassic World 2" is scheduled to release on June 22, 2018. The leads Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be reliving their roles in the sequel.
