"Girl Meets World" season 4 has been a hot topic for discussion among Disney fans who have been following the series that first aired in 2014. Season 3 of "GMW" series is almost coming to an end, and the fans are already losing hope for a season renewal because up until now, Disney has not yet given an official statement regarding the matter.

As of writing, the series is currently on hiatus, which gives the fans more time to worry about and mull over "Girl Meets World" season 4. The last aired episode was released on December 2 and the remaining "GMW" episodes are expected to be aired in 2017.

Meanwhile, Maya and Riley are set for some serious episodes, brushing aside the kid inside them and embracing their transformation into growing up. One of the upcoming "GMW" episodes entitled "Girl Meets Sweet Sixteen," is expected to be an emotional one as the girls ponder on about what the future holds for them.

The said episode is expected to be similar to "Girl Meets Bay Window" episode in season 2, where Riley is seen pondering about her future. The nostalgic scenes in the series compared to the uncertainty of a season renewal will definitely tug at the heartstrings of the devoted fans.

Although "GMW" has stemmed as a spinoff or a sequel to the original "Boys Meet World," the fans have learned to love it independently. The stories and adventures of Maya, Riley and the rest of the gang have been, in one way or another, part of the growing up years of young adolescents.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 returns to the small screen on January 6, 2017. As of writing, Disney has yet to give an official statement about the fate of "Girl Meets World" season 4 so keep posted and stay tuned to Mobile & Apps!
