Fans waiting for "Bad Moms" 2 received great news from STX Entertainment that the sequel for the comedy hit is set to hit cinemas on Nov. 3, 2017. The comedy breakout hit is about disobeying gender and societal norms through having fun and being hip and hot.

STX Entertainment chairman of the Motion Picture Group, Adam Fogelson announced the news. "This is a brand that has enormous goodwill all over the world, so expanding and extending the "Bad Moms" franchise in an authentic and irreverent way has been a priority for our team," he said in a statement. Lucas and Scott Moore both have incredible storylines and the sequel will be released on the same timetable as the original film as well as the same way of production, he added.

According to Dark Horizons, the original "Bad Moms" stars trio such as Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and Kathryn Hahn are all confirmed to be coming back. Lucas and Moore are still drafting the script as well as directing.

Vulture reports that on Dec. 23, actress Kristen Bell tweeted about "Bad Moms" confirmation of second installment telling fans to get ready as it's about time to ‘get festive as a mother' with the sequel coming in Winter 2017. It was previously reported that the next kind of sequel in the Bad Parental Units series will be Bad Dads, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 14, 2017 although there's no confirmation yet on its casting.

"Bad Moms" sequel, "A Bad Moms Christmas" follows the story of the trio who are struggling with the stress of the holiday season, which includes visits from their mothers. The comedy film earned $180 million globally at the box office on a $20 million budget.

The other ensemble cast includes Jay Hernandez, Jada Pinkett Smith and Christina Applegate. The film is the first for STX Entertainment to pass $100 million domestically.
