'Arrow' Season 5 Midseason Premiere: Trailer Reveals Resurrected Laurel Lance's True Identity

Tthe last few scenes in the "Arrow" Season 5 winter finale showed Laurel Lance a.k.a the Black Canary visiting the Arrow-cave. Lance is obviously well and alive and even greeted Oliver Queen with a smile. The return of Laurel Lance excited many followers of Green Arrow comic book series, even throwing out some theories and speculations as to why she is alive.

The CW Network has released its latest trailer for the midseason premiere of Arrow with the episode entitled "Who are you?" In the first part of the trailer, we can see that Laurel was welcomed to the Arrow family for the holiday season and by the end of the trailer everything becomes very chaotic.

As Laurel uses her Canary Cry on Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak in the Arrow cave, causing destruction and even hurting one of the member of the recruits. "That's not our Laurel," Oliver said while trying to get some cover, "Finally, it's about time someone figured it out," Laurel said in fierce and sassy tone.

The only explanation that we all know is that she is not a Laurel Lance in season 4, who was killed by Damian Dhark, but the Laurel Lance from Earth-2 a.k.a The Black Siren who first appeared in "The Flash Season 2".

Comic Book reported that this particular Laurel is not wearing or needing Cisco's technological necklace for her to scream at a high frequency which means that she is more likely to be a metahuman.

We'll have to wait a little bit longer to get more answers about this mysterious return of Katie Cassidy's character when "Arrow" Season 5 episode 10 returns on Jan. 25, 2017 on The CW Network.
