WWE fans are expecting The Undertaker to have appearances in big events next year such as the Royal Rumble and the WrestleMania 33. Viewers are itching for details on the next matchup and possible opponents of the WWE star.

The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33

To maintain the excitement, it has been suggested that The Undertaker should be kept away from television as much as possible so that fans will continue to clamor for news about him. The Royal Rumble match could see him along with other big WWE stars like Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. A much-awaited fight between The Undertaker and John Cena is also anticipated for WrestleMania 33.

The two have long been pitted against each other and it seems that the rivalry between John Cena and The Undertaker will continue to build up until WrestleMania33. The Undertaker is hoped not only to face and defeat Cena but also destroy his chances against AJ Styles.

John Cena vs The Undertaker

Fortunately for fans, WWE officials don't need to give Undertaker a Royal Rumble win to get him a marquee match against Cena at WrestleMania. All Undertaker must do is ruin Cena's chances of beating Styles.

Fans have waited for this grand fight to happen which did not push through the first time it was planned because of John Cena's injury. Now that both fighters seem perfect to come face to face, 2017 is looking to be the time fit for The Undertaker and John Cena to prove to fans who is the better wrestler.

Willing to fight

John Cena has earlier expressed his willingness to fight The Undertaker saying that the latter has been an institution in the WWE. "If you're asking if I'd want to be in a high-profile match with one of the most legendary superstars in the industry, my answer is yes," he added.
