It looks like "Doctor Strange" fans can see him again sooner as Disney's official fans club posted about several Disney-related stuff coming this year including "Thor: Ragnarok." The message was posted for fans on New Year's Day to let them know what to expect this year.

According to Cinema Blend, in the mid-credits scene of Scott Derrickson's "Doctor Strange," fans have learned that the titular magician will be rubbing shoulders with an Avenger soon. The sequence disclosed Chris Hemsworth's "Thor" coming to Sanctum Sanctorum asking the doctor's help on his newest exciting journey.

In this note, fans have expected that they will see the doctor again; thanks to the official Disney fans club D23's post directly mentioning Benedict Cumberbatch's role in "Thor: Ragnarok" although this news isn't coming from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. "If you need even more intergalactic, world-saving action, "Thor: Ragnarok" in November brings together "Thor," the Hulk and "Doctor Strange" to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new," reads D23's post.

"Thor" though is clearly the film's title character and Hulk's involvement has been confirmed long ago but at least the mention of "Doctor Strange" being included in "Thor: Ragnarok" is great news for all fans. In that mid-credits scene, Thor was asking the doctor for aid to find Odin who had gone missing, which means he has to deal with Loki and that he agrees to help Thor, according to Comic Book.

It might take longer before fans can get a confirmation how big the role of "Doctor Strange" in "Thor: Ragnarok" film. It could be that he will only be featured in an extended version of the stinger scene of "Doctor Strange" or with D23's post, it can also mean a larger role.

The ensemble cast of "Thor: Ragnarok" includes returning stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and Sir Anthony Hopkins with newcomers Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo. The movie is set to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
