After the shocking reveal of Wes Gibbins' death during the midseason finale of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3, many have become curious who really killed Wes. It remains unclear what happened to one of the show's main characters prior to his death.

How did Wes die?

The events leading up to Wes' death were offered to the viewers in the episodes leading to the midseason finale last year. But the most intriguing part was that Wes did not die because of the house fire. He was already reportedly dead even before Annalise Keating's house burned to the ground.

"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3B is expected to tackle what really happened to Wes before he ended up dead inside Annalise's house. It will also explore the possible killer of the character which could be anybody who has a grudge on either Wes or Annalise.

Possible killers

There are a few names that come into mind when talking about the possible killer for Wes' slay. Actress Karla Souza, who plays Wes' love interest Laurel Castillo, believes that the Mahoneys could be responsible for the killing noting that they have the money and the motive to do it. She added that it may not be someone who knows Wes really well like Annalise or Nate.

Liza Weil, who plays Bonnie, also agrees that the Mahoney may be investigated for Wes' death. She claimed that it is not the deed from someone in their group.
