The crossover between Justice League and Suicide Squad continues with its third issue on Jan. 4, 2016. A preview of "Justice League vs Suicide Squad" was provided by DC, showing Batman being held captives by some of the worst criminals.

In the "Justice League vs Suicide Squad" preview, Batman was initially being restrained at Belle Reve. The Caped Crusader had his mask on, but his mouth was covered by restraints. He was wearing a straight jacket and tied onto a metal cart, writes ComicBookMovie.

In "Justice League vs Suicide Squad #3," Batman told his captors that they have to know that his restraints cannot hold him. One of the criminals told Batman that he was not in Arkham Asylum and they actually know how to keep their inmates under lock and key. Batman answered that he was not talking to him. He gave the man a huge headbutt, telling the latter that he was talking to his boss.

Batman added that he understood that the men were only following orders, although overzealously, and promised not to hurt them much. In "Justice League vs Suicide Squad," he proceeded to beat the men in the room and finally took his mouth cover off.

"Justice League vs Suicide Squad #3" is written by Joshua Williamson, while Jesus Merino and Andy Owens are behind the art and cover. The variant covers are by Amanda Conner and Joe Madureira. "Justice League vs Suicide Squad #3" consists of 40 pages and was given a T rating.

Based on the synopsis of "Justice League vs Suicide Squad #3," Belle Reve Penitentiary is the headquarters of Task Force X, and home to the worst super-criminal scum in the DC Universe. It may also be the new residence of the Justice League. The Suicide Squad are eager to present to the good heroes how the evil side lives. The Justice League has to be restrained to listen to Amanda Waller's terrible secret. In the meantime, more about Max Lord and his group are expected to surface as the storyline progresses.

The upcoming issue will be the third of six "Justice League vs Suicide Squad" comics. The comic will cost $3.99 upon release. More updates and details on "Justice League vs Suicide Squad" are expected soon.
