Tremendously popular series "Game of Thrones" is making a comeback this year with Season 7. The season has already created a lot of buzz amongst the loyal fans and viewers of the series. It is now being speculated that they have to wait for 9 more months until season 7 of "Game of Thrones" hits the screen.

It was already reported that season 7 will only contain seven episodes. It also has been said that the season 7 debut will take place months later than the previously expected date. As proclaimed by Den of Geek, "the Long Night of Winter is here, and the coming summer will be shorter than ever." "Now that winter has arrived on Game Of Thrones, executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss felt that the storylines of the next season would be better served by starting production a little later than usual, when the weather is changing," Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming, said in a statement. "Instead of the show's traditional spring debut, we're moving the debut to summer to accommodate the shooting schedule."

But with every seemingly bad news, there are some positive aspects, too! Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the show, had quite a lot to say about the upcoming series. Her character suffered for quite a while in the past seasons, with the end of season 6 bringing some respite to her. "Oh yeah, this is so much more Dark Sansa," Turner said.

"When she changed her outfit that was just the first hint that she was ready to start playing the game. That was a mild version of Dark Sansa, and now it's really starting to feel like there is a dark side to her. She's playing the game now, and very ruthlessly. When she wants something, she's going to go out and get it."
