"Overwatch's" Roadhog will soon be getting his hook ability nerfed in its Public Test Realm according to the principal designer Geoff Goodman. He revealed a little bit of the character's upcoming balance change in the game.

According to GameSpot, the modifications focus on Roadhog's hooking behavior as to how it influences others, which Blizzard plans to have the hooked enemies land directly in front of Roadhog and not just everywhere in a straight line in his direction. "There is a cap on how far 'to the side' you can be pulled, so you can't just hook someone, spin 180 and dump someone off a cliff," Goodman explained via "Overwatch" forum.

Roadhog wouldn't be able to hook someone he's unable to see and players must maintain a new line-of-sight check all the time and if it fails, the hook will cut off and will go back to him. This concept is to make the hook more solid for Roadhog and his opponents in "Overwatch," reports VG247.

These changes are expected to go live in the PTR soon, possibly this week and the live versions might follow depending on the players' reception. Furthermore, Goodman also added that Sombra might also use a little of a boost and that she might get a buff in the future.

Recently, developer has released a new map, Oasis, which is the first and new content of the game this year although director Jeff Kaplan assured more updates coming this year that includes new modes, maps, heroes and more. It is also worth noting that GameSpot awarded "Overwatch" as the Game of the Year 2016.

Blizzard Entertainment developed "Overwatch" and published it on May 24, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, which is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game. It was unveiled at BlizzCon 2014 in a completely playable state and had over 9.7 million players in an open beta in May 2016.
