‘Aquaman’ 2018: ‘Mad Max Fury Road’ Stunt Team Will Handle Action Sequences In the DC Movie

DC's "Aquaman" movie featuring "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa is on its way to a 2018 premiere. On the other hand, 'Mad Max: Fury Road' stunt team reported hired by the filmmaker to handle the movie's action stunt.

The "Mad Max: Fury Road" stunt team was reported in an Australian TV News network, practicing their stunt for the "Aquaman" movie. The team is said to contribute general stunt skills and fighting for the upcoming DC film.

This stunt performers team hails from the Gold Coast, Australia. They did an amazing stunt performance in several films including the "Mad Max: Fury Road" and are expected to do the same with the upcoming DC's "Aquaman" movie.

Keir Beck is the stunt coordinator of the team. Australia's 9 News reported that Beck said that if there are water sequences, like what is expected in the "Aquaman" movie, obviously being capable and competent in the water will be a requirement, too.

Like their previous movies, fans of the stunt team are are expecting excellent performance in the DC movie. According to a Digital Trend report, although the Academy Awards have yet to add a category for stunt choreography, Keir Beck's team shared a Screen Actor Guild Award last year for their stunt work in "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Stunt performance is one of the keys in every amazing and successful movie, especially for action films. As a superhero film, "Aquaman" action scenes is deemed to be on of the biggest attraction for the fans, and now the success of this stunt work will depend on Keir Beck's team.

The "Aquaman" movie will be directed by James Wan, who also known for helming "Furious 7." The filming will start sometime this year and the pre-production will be held in Queensland, Australia. The film is set to be released on October 5, 2018, after the first "Justice League" movie.
