CES 2017: A Number Of Weird Tech Introduced In The Tech Show
JPJust like in any CES Las Vegas tech show, this year's Las Vegas CES 2017 is no different as there are also some weird stuff mixed with the impressive ones. The annual Las Vegas CES is a venue for both tech startups and giants to unveil their new products. However, this does not mean that all the products introduced in the annual CES tech show will actually be impressive.
The first weird tech found in the CES 2017 Las Vegas is the LoveBox. The wooden smart box is the modern day version of message in a bottle. The romantic box has a body that is made from beech wood and displays messages on a mirrored digital screen. A heart outside the LoveBox spins to notify users that there is an unread message.
The next weird tech found in Las Vegas 2017 CES is Smarter's FridgeCam. The FridgeCam is seemingly developed to prevent owners from repeatedly opening their fridge just to look for something that isn't there. The FridgeCam takes a picture of the inside of the fridge before it closes. Basically, users will see the contents of their fridge. However, the camera of the Fridgecam is not wide enough to capture the whole fridge, so a number of FridgeCams is required to capture the entire portion of a fridge. A helpful feature of the FridgeCam is that the app can provide users recipes based on what is inside their fridge.
Another interesting tech presented in the first day of the CES 2017 Las Vegas is the 42tea smart cube. The 42tea smart cube is specially made for tea aficionados. The interesting piece of tech tells users the best temperature when to brew a specific kind of tea.
Next on the list of weird tech and gadgets seen at Las Vegas CES 2017 is the Catspad. The Catspad is dubbed as the smart pet assistant. Catspad is an automated bowl that dispenses food and filtered water for pets.
