Nintendo Switch is set to launch on March 3 and there are already multiple titles on the console including "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," which requires a whopping 13.4 GB of storage from the console. When you purchase the digital version of the game, it will take up more than 40 percent of the 32 GB internal storage of the Switch, which a little smaller on Wii U at 13 GB.

This only means that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" file size takes almost half of the Nintendo Switch storage space, which is certainly an incredible portion of the console as it will be shipping with its own operating system, according to Game Rant. Additionally, Nintendo has also assured fans that the game will not only be available on the Switch but also on Wii U in March and the Big N announced that the amount of space required to play the upcoming game on Wii U is going to be smaller compared to the Switch version.

Nintendo Switch may have 32 GB storage but this doesn't mean that all of it will be maximized as some of the space might be used for the console's operating system and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". Howbeit, Nintendo has guaranteed fans that they can expand the Switch's memory with a microSDXC card, reports GameSpot.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" remains one of the most anticipated video games this year as it will be launched in March for Nintendo Switch and Wii U. The game is the 19th installment of The Legend of Zelda series but the first game in the series to feature an HD resolution.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" follows an amnesiac Link who is awakened from a 1oo-year sleep to a voice that remains a mystery guiding him to eradicate Calamity Ganon. The game is developed and published by Nintendo.
