‘Girl Meets World’ Meets Finale After Disney Says 'Our Show Is Over'

Caroline Soriano

"Boy Meets World" ended by Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) having a career in New York, which made him left Philadelphia and his life behind. On the other hand, "Girl Meets World" is about to have its finale but it seems like the Matthews family will have to make a gigantic move that would affect lives. One of which is Riley's (Rowan Blanchard) as she tries to cope up knowing that her ultimate best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) will not be by her side.

"Girl Meets World", the American TV sitcom, was created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly. Disney Channel had first released it in June 2014. After several years on air, the sitcom is finally ending and fans can't contain their emotion as it is bound to meet a bittersweet finale.

"How can I pretend this isn't happening?" asks Riley to her mom who got a new job offer in London. Even Riley doesn't know how to handle what is about to happen and "Girl Meets World" fans will surely feel the same agony. It's no surprise as the best friends, Riley and Maya, have been together and now, they are about to be oceans apart. Their friendship had survived too many tough times, but never have they left each other's back -- not even once. (via Refinery29)

Fans would definitely love to see more of the two but it seems like the cancellation of the spinoff of "Girl Meets World" after three seasons will have to give them a heartbreaking ending. Riley and her family's decision seems mostly to end in moving to London but still, they are going to need advice from the original series' characters, which will include Mr. Feeny (William Daniels), everybody's favorite teacher. Hopefully, the advice will be what most of the fans are expecting. (via Hollywood Life)
