Aziz Ansari vs Chris Brown Clash Continues; Comedian Compares Trump Voters to Brown Listeners
Dannel Picaccio Camille Perez LozanoChris Brown is said to be in another pickle in the community but, this time, for a spark he seemingly did not start. During a recent segment in Saturday Night Live, Ansari mentioned something in relation to the recent inauguration of President elect Donald Trump which triggered the RnB artist's temper.
According to Spin, Ansari compared the way that the reputation of the people who voted for Trump can be compared to those listening to Chris Brown's music. In a joking manner, Ansari said that he is sure on the way that the aforesaid voters chose to go with Trump is identical to the logic of people listening to Chris Brown's songs-simply there for the "tunes," "dancing" and not paying mind to the "extracurriculars."
Furthermore, he said that Donald Trump is "Chris Brown" of politics, with the slogan "Make America Great Again" being the same as "These hoes ain't loyal (a line from Chris Brown's song "Loyal)."
Brown did not take the matter sitting down, as his now-deleted Instagram video said how the recording artist "can't f***ing catch a break." He iterated not to trust what people see, and after which he said that "Aladdin" should get off of his back.
Ansari has been known for many of his comedic on-screen acts, as well as his stand-up comedy stints. His most recent movie works include voice work for "Ice Age: Continental Drift" as Squint in 2012, as well as in "Epic" as Mub the year after. He consistently appeared in "Parks and Recreation" alongside Amy Poehler as Tom Haverford, and is credited on his Netflix show "Master of None." No final outcome has been revealed for the conflict between Brown and Ansari.
