'Battlefield 1' DLC Pack Detailed: 'They Shall Not Pass'
Rommel"Battlefield 1" DLC "They Shall Not Pass" title was already released but official details of the said expansion pack has not been revealed yet. Not until today, when DICE and electronic arts provided a sneak peek to the first-person shooter game that was inspired by the World War I.
Just recently, "Battlefield 1" teaser has been forwarded by DICE and Electronic Arts for a big reveal regarding the upcoming launch of their next expansion pack. It would be the first of the four DLC packs of the game. An outline of new maps, weapons, modes, items and more have been revealed for the game's new DLC.
In the official website of "Battlefield 1", it was revealed that "They Shall Not Pass" expansion will be offering four maps with French theme add-on with the DLC set at Battle of Verdun with locations and environments included in the post-launch content package such as Verdun Heights, Soissons, Fort Vaux and Rupture. Fans can have a look at the maps on the gallery in their website. They also confirmed the addition of a French Army and an extra new mode "Frontlines."
The fresh mode is a synergy between "Conquest" and "Rush" with the official description detailing on teams fighting for a flag at a time with the goal of capturing the action moving onto the next. The enemy's headquarters control point must be captured and the game will be turned into a Rush-style mode where telegraph posts are needed to be able to attack or defend.
New Car 2C tank will be incorporated, as well as the St. Chamond tank. "They Shall Not Pass" DLC will also have an elite class called the "Trench Raiders" which will be focusing on a battle of classes using the "Raider Club." Official release date was not yet released for the game's first expansion but it would probably be around March. "Battlefield 1" is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
