Australian actor Brendan Cowell reportedly will be joining the cast of "Game of Thrones" in season seven of the series as a member of Ironborn, according to Winter is Coming.

Cowell may be playing a character named Harrag Ironborn and is working with various directors which mean his character may appear in more than one episode as season seven is being directed by four different directors.

Based on George R.R. Martins's novel, there are two characters named Harrag. First one is Harrag Sharp, one of Ironborn's fighters who occupies Winterfell with Theon and was killed by the forces of Ramsey Bolton. The second one is Harrag Hoare, he was an Ironborn King long before the series begins. Perhaps the showrunners are just borrowing the name for an exclusive character for the show.

Cowell was reportedly seen during filming of the show with some major characters. In October, cast and crew were in Itzurun Beach in the village of Zumalia as a setting for Dragonstone reportedly the new base for Daenerys in season seven. In the scene, Theon, with his Ironborn soldiers, reunited with Jon Snow who wasn't very happy to see him. Cowell might be in this scene.

The following day, a scene was filmed where Theon was detained by his own men and started beating him.

Cowell has appeared in movies sung as "To End All Wars" and "Salem's Lot" with American actor Rob Lowe. He also appeared in shows like "The Borgias" and "The Slap." In addition, he has writing and directing credits under his name.

The premiere date for "Game of Thrones" season seven has not been officially announced as of this time.
