Xbox Project Scorpio Launch Will Not Make Xbox One And One S Obsolete, Phil Spencer Assures Fans
JPXbox head, Phil Spencer, has assured Xbox One and Xbox One S users that their gaming consoles will be supported in future even after the Xbox Scorpio release. This assurance was given by Spencer via twitter.
The Xbox Scorpio has been promoted as the most powerful console ever built. But aside from what is being developed under its hood, no further details about the upcoming Microsoft video game console have been released.
As of lately, the only source of "official" information for the Xbox Project Scorpio is the occasional twitter post from Xbox head, Phil Spencer. Fans of the game console have been asking questions about the highly anticipated video game console on Spencer's official twitter page.
Twitter user @ahbenitez86 recently asked Spencer about the speculation that the release of Xbox Scorpio will face out Microsoft's current flagship console, the Xbox One. In response, Spencer assured owners of the current Xbox video game consoles that their units will be supported for many years.

According to Gamespot, the Scorpio will have support for Xbox One games just like the relationship between Sony's PS4 and PS4 Pro. It is also stated that the Scorpio is made to provide a higher-end option for Xbox players. It is also noteworthy that Xbox has ramped up its Xbox backward compatibility project. This is a good indication that the video game company is still looking after its current flagship console despite the fact that the Project Scorpio is probably nearing release date.
The company is set to announce an Xbox Project Scorpio release date. However, Phil Spencer has already expressed his approval with the current development of the powerful gaming system.
Spencer also revealed that he has already tested the Xbox Scorpio. And, so far, the games that he played all work great. This could be a good indication that the new gaming console is going to get a release date soon.
