Here's How To Hack Nintendo NES Classic To Play 700 Games [VIDEO], But Be Prepared To Lose Warranty!
Catherine G.Nintendo NES Classic Edition came with an original price tag of $54.99 with 30 pre-loaded games. However, a few weeks back, a Nintendo NES Classic Edition console was spotted with 84 games and people thought this was the highest number of hacked games possible for the console. Now, Nintendo NES Classic Edition can be hacked to play over 700 games and this is all thanks to a mod!
TootyUK, a gamer/YouTube user showcased his Nintendo NES Classic Edition with more than 700 hacked games in a published video last weekend. He specified how the Nintendo NES Classic Edition console could be hacked using Hakchi 2.11. The video was over 21 minutes long and understandably so, as the task at hand was to cram 700 games into a console which only has a memory storage of 300 MB! One warning to anyone trying it out, though, hacking the Nintendo NED voids all warranty rights the gamer may have but for 700 games, this is not a huge price to pay.
Till now, this mod hack has worked for most of the Nintendo NES Classic Edition gamers. However, as is being reported, some game titles including "BattleToads" require tuning as currently, they are full of errors. Nintendo NES Classic Edition (also called the Nintendo Mini) is prone to be hacked by enthusiastic gamers as it cannot offer extra games or upgrades.
The original remade version of the popular gaming system "Nintendo Entertainment System" only has 30 pre-installed games and that simply is not enough. We expected hackers to break into the Nintendo Mini and it seems like Nintendo, too expected this delinquency. They broadcasted this message on the console itself:
"This is the Hanafuda captain speaking. Launching emulation in 3.. 2.. 1. Many efforts, tears and countless hours have been put into this jewel. So, please keep this place tidied up and don't break everything! Cheers, the Hanafuda captain."
Hanafuda are Japanese cards that are used to play games and they literally mean "flower cards". How is this important? Before making its name as one of the gaming giants in the world alongside Microsoft and Sony, it started out by selling Hanafuda playing cards in the year 1889! The video contains some average level coding which may require some patient and skills in order to be deployed.
