The eleventh episode of "Arrow' season 5 was action-packed and full of surprising revelations. Has Team Arrow finally found the new Black Canary?

According to ComicBook, "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 11  "Second Chances" begins with a flashback. Three years ago, Tina Boland (Juliana Harkavy) is a police officer in Central City. She and her partner are "captured by a mobster," but as he was about to kill her partner, the particle accelerator explodes and Tina gains the ability called the sonic scream.

In the present, despite his promise to appoint a new Black Canary, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) refuses to select a new candidate, per TV Line. He finally decides on a "female vigilante/urban legend" who has hand-to-hand combat skills and a sonic cry.

Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) and Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) accompany Oliver and they try to talk to the female vigilante but she doesn't accept their offer of a "home, a team," and "a place to train." She escapes, but Curtis is able to identify her as Tina.

As the Green Arrow, Oliver calls Captain Singh (Patrick Sabongui) who tells the former that Tina "went deep undercover" but her partner and lover Vinny was murdered by the drug lord Sean Sonus. Oliver and the others try to talk to Tina again and when they find her, she tortures one of Sean's men to death. Oliver sees his old self in Tina, but once again she refuses to join them.

Tina then tries to take on Sean by herself but is overpowered by the drug lord who also has metahuman powers. Thankfully, Curtis whips up tech that suppresses Sean's powers so Tina can defeat him. Oliver tries to stop Tina, but the latter shoots and kills Sean.

Tina once again meets with Oliver, and she confesses that killing Sean didn't help her move on. The two talk, and after telling her that having a team helped him deal with his own demons, Tina signs up for Team Arrow. She also reveals that "Tina Boland" is just an undercover name and that her real name is Dinah Drake. In another flashback, Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) encounters Oliver as he makes his way back to Starling City.
