Huawei P10 Specs, Release Date & Pricing Revealed: RAM, Internal Memory, Camera & Display Resolution Roundup
Regin OlimberioExpectants for the upcoming Huawei flagship P10 and beefier version P10 Plus don't have to wait until the end of February to know what features these devices pack under the hood. Huawei is supposed to detail and release the P10 and Plus variant in Barcelona's Mobile World Congress between Feb. 27 to March 2 but leaks gushed ahead of schedule.
According to product information sheet for Huawei P10 phones, three variants will release and different features play along RAM and internal storage capacities. The base P10 allegedly packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Its second variant sports the same RAM but doubled the internal memory capacity to 64GB.
PhoneArena said that the object of desire for smartphone lovers should be the third Huawei P10 variant because it packs power that can even outmatch some high-end rivals. The third P10 version has whooping 6GB RAM and humongous 128GB storage.
Logically, more power or storage means pricier investment. For the P10 6GB variant, IBTimes reported a price tag of $682 which suggest that Huawei intends to pit the units against other premium phones. The other two variants cost $500 and $595 respectively.
Meanwhile, MobileNApps reported earlier that both P0 and Plus variant sports phablet-sized 5.5-inch display, sporting resolutions that can range as far as 1440 x 2560 pixels. This resources hog requires Huawei's home-developed Kirin 965 chipset.
The difference between base P10 and Plus version is discernable in respective screens. Base units sports a flat screen while Plus reportedly has curved screen. However, there are claims that this curved screen is just cosmetics because screen display ends in the areas where the curve actually begins.
About the camera, there are varying information about the dual-camera setup because some sources claim that P10 sports an 18MP shooter while others say that it is going to be 12MP on both front and rear. At any rate, all sources agree that the biggest asset that Huawei has in terms of camera is its Leica branding.
