'Splash! Magikarp' New & Weird Game Announced By The Pokemon Company Only In Japan!

Catherine G.

The Pokémon Company has recently announced a new Pokemon game for the smartphones. The game is called "Splash! Magikarp" and is a literal translation of the original game titled "Hanero! Koiking". The game will be released in Japan in the coming months. It will feature the weakest Pokemon present in the fantasy world of Pokemon.

The Pokémon Company has not given much information about the upcoming game "Splash! Magikarp". They have only created a teaser site for the game which features a newspaper article. The article reports that a mysterious site will be found by a young fisherman. The fisherman will stumble onto two Magikarp (fish Pokemon) shaped holes in the middle of a town. No other information is currently available but we expect to get some real time news about the game as soon as The Pokémon Company starts updating more news about "Splash! Magikarp".

Currently we believe that the game will be released in Japan alone. There is no word about an international release yet. It is no surprising information that Magikarp is one of the weakest Pokemon in the Pocket Monster universe. The game has been named on the Pokemon and will revolve around Magikarp. People are analysing the mysterious announcement and say that the game will supposedly be based on competitive dulling itself.

As was the case of "Pokemon GO" and "Pokemon Duel", "Splash! Magikarp" will first need to succeed in Japan in order to aim for an international for all players. Needless to say, this announcement has gotten several players excited as this is the first time that the focus has been transferred to some of the more inferior Pokemon (considering general disposition of the creatures).
