The newest title in Rebellion's series, "Sniper Elite 4," is finally out. The first to be self-published by the company, the game is immensely polished, but PC players might find themselves run into some tech issues. Should that happen, here's a small guide to help you deal with some glitches and errors. But first, here are the specs:

Recommended System Requirements for "Sniper Elite 4"

Although "Sniper Elite 4's" minimum system requirements should work, the recommended OS for the game are Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit. It requires an 8GB RAM, an Intel CPU Core i7-3770 or any AMD equivalent, Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 970 or AMD GPU Radeon RX 480, and of course, a Steam account and stable internet connectivity. Apart from DirectX 11, the game also supports DirectX 12.

General Troubleshooting Tips

if you are running into problems with "Sniper Elite 4," consider the following steps: make sure the drivers in your PC are up to date. Should you own two GPUs, leave out the integrated GPU - use the discrete one. In the Task Manager, set the game's priority to High. Make sure any background programs are turned off, including overlays and firewalls. You could also try and lower visual settings just to check if it improves the performance of the game.

Skipping Sound, Game Won't Play, Stuttering & More

If you're experiencing jittery sound while playing "Sniper Elite 4, try turning off Audio Reverb from the settings menu in the launcher. If the game won't play, attempt to run the game as an Admin, or run the game in Compatibility mode. If you see a drop in FPS, make sure to update your GPU drivers, turn on V-Sync, or check if your background processes are suspended. For DirectX Crash, remember that SLI Crossfire setups won't work with DirectX 12. Switch to DirectX 11, and/or with one card.

The methods mentioned above are to be used at the sole discretion of the system owner. If the general fixes don't work, it's best to seek official support. Or as GamingBolt puts it, "official support is always the best support."
