LG G6 Top Features: Full-Metal Sealed Casing, SD821 Qualcomm Processor, Dual 13MP Rear Camera, Quad DAC Audio And More
Regin OlimberioWith the success and positive reviews about LG G5 last year, all eyes are set on its successor, LG G6, which is set to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Some of the confirmed features of the LG G6 is a non-modular build that is tightly sealed for dust and waterproofing, display that runs nearly to edges, bezel-less FullVision and a Snapdragon 821 processor.
LG recently announced that their next smartphone aims for durability so they employed a full-metal body that rivals the iPhone. Another feature to look into is the G6's rumored new-generation, state-of-the-art fingerprint scanner.
Android Community believes that LG's next premium phone is something that has the potential to capture the market solo because Samsung has timed their Galaxy S8 release later this year. In fact, Samsung does not intend to unveil their new design at the Mobile World Congress 2017.
If there is something to look forward to for the LG G6, it would be its inclusion of the coveted Google Assistant. Other top features of LG's next-gen phone are its wide-angle dual 13MP camera, Quad DAC high-quality audio, 3200mAh battery capacity and SD821 Qualcomm processor.
Comparably, G6 is indeed very similar to Galaxy S8. Both reportedly feature tiny bezel, dual rear camera and a high-capacity battery. It seems that a long-lasting 3200mAh pack is becoming a necessity for the two competing brands because of the sealed nature of their devices. Meaning, there is no possibility of taking the phone apart to swap batteries should they run out of juice, Android Central reported.
There is no detail yet about LG G6's price range, but fans can expect them to be announced soon. This is mainly because LG plans to release their latest device as soon as next month.
