Masashi Kishimoto's "Naruto: Shippuden" has been soaring high among other series for more than a decade now and it appears that the popular anime series is almost upon its final days. Last year, the anime series has finally kept up with its manga series as Naruto Uzumaki went into battle against Sasuke Uchiha after the Fourth Great Ninja War.

However, the battle ended with the two ninjas reaching into reconciliation that leaves Team 7 to reunite after years of being not together. According to Comic Book, "Naruto: Shippuden" went on after the end of the story by adapting a series of post-manga novels being released that focused mainly on heroes such as Shikamaru and more.

Weekly Shonen Jump's latest issue teased the finale of "Naruto: Shippuden," which hinted that the Konoha Hiden: The Perfect Day for a Wedding arc finale will be aired on March 23 marking the anime's 500th episode and the 720th installment of the franchise. There was no word from the magazine if the anime series is ending for good on the mentioned date or if there will be more episodes after the set date.

The final episode of "Naruto: Shippuden" is expected to particularly focus on Iruka's message to Naruto as he weds Hinata Hyuga. According to CrunchyRoll, the anime is looking forward to the wedding, which will be the finale episode for the series. Kakashi, Sakura and others' reaction on the upcoming wedding of the titular hero were being teased by the magazine in a post on Twitter.

"Naruto: Shippuden" first started to explore Konoha Hiden in December when it made an adaptation of the first of three epilogue novels where "Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise" was the first to be adapted before "Naruto: Shikamaru's Story." Naruto: Konoha Hiden was then introduced to the series in the past weeks.

The final days of "Naruto: Shippuden" have made fans feel emotional about it but it's still possible that the anime will move forward in adapting piece of the Naruto epilogue. This was penned into the final manga chapter of Masashi Kishimoto.
