Rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have been flying thick and fast in the smartphone sphere for some time. Now, a render of the upcoming smartphone has emerged, but the million-dollar question is whether it's real or fake.
The leaked image shows the Galaxy S4 with a metal finish from a few angles, along with the purported specifications of the smartphone listed on one side of the image.
The render of the Galaxy S4 appeared on Twitter and shows off the upcoming smartphone's front-facing speakers, a shift from the existing Galaxy S3 which has the speakers in the rear of the handset.
"This render appears to show the Galaxy S IV as being metal and with front-facing speakers. The usual sensors seem to all be in place, not to mention the charging port and front-facing camera. The front-facing speakers look decent and just for comparison sake, the Galaxy S III has the speaker on the rear," reported Android Community.
If the render is legit, then the Galaxy S4 will include a dedicated camera button, a lock button, and volume control buttons.
The specifications of the smartphone on the side of the image is nothing new as previous rumors already point towards the expected specifications.
The leaked render does not bear any resemblance to the previously leaked press renders, which shows the volume buttons on the opposite side of the handset. Even though the previous image looked more realistic the latest render is something that would attract many more potential buyers.
Samsung has not confirmed any official release date for the Galaxy S4 but rumors indicate that the smartphone will make its appearance in March this year. We will have to wait until an official announcement is made and the company takes the wraps off probably the most-anticipated Android smartphone of this year.
