The purported HTC One Max is one of the most-rumored devices as of late and the phablet has now leaked next to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming HTC phablet have only been intensifying recently, with various images popping up to paint a clearer picture of what to expect. The HTC One Max has leaked from all angles so far, and recent images seem to confirm that it will boast a fingerprint scanner on the back, below the camera.
The phablet will reportedly be known as the HTC 8088 and will have both GSM and LTE support. A new leak now shows the HTC One Max in comparison shots alongside the recently-launched Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which is expected to be its main competitor.
The latest leak came from Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, where user TD Zhija posted several images of the upcoming phablet, as well as some bits of information. The images, however, show a Chinese version of the device, which could be different from the global version.
With new leaks and information emerging nearly on a daily basis, it seems that HTC will unleash its One Max phablet in the near future. The HTC One Max is expected to boast a 5.9-inch screen with 1080p resolution and challenge the Galaxy Note 3. One of the newly-leaked images also shows benchmark results, according to which the device scored 26,417. Such a score suggests a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor.
Other rumored specs of the HTC One Max include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory, a large 3,300 mAh battery and the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean running the show.
In terms of processor, however, not all rumors agree. Earlier speculation suggested that the new HTC phablet would boast the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, but famous tipster @evleaks recently claimed that the phablet would in fact pack a Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.7GHz.
Keep in mind, however, that nothing is confirmed so far. HTC has not made an official announcement yet and the exact launch date of the HTC One Max remains unknown at this point, but the phablet is expected to make its debut by the end of the year.
