‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Will Bonnie Meet A Tragic End?

As "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere later this year, fans have started speculating about the possible storyline.

Most of the conversations revolve around Enzo and Damon's predicament. However, it seems that there is another cast member who might meet a heartbreaking end.

Notably, Kat Graham, who plays the role of Bonnie Bennett, announced that she will be leaving the show after season 8. Thus, Inquisitr anticipated that viewers might see a heartbreaking end for Bonnie Bennet this season.

Meanwhile, in the season 7 finale, Bonnie was seen to lose not only her best friend, but also her magical powers.  Thus, it seems that the writers of "The Vampire Diaries" have shown Bonnie affected from all sides.

Perhaps this is the reason why Parent Herald has speculated that Bonnie will have a heartbreaking end this season.

Previously, Julie Plec told TV Line that Bonnie will be paralyzed by everything that is going on. However, Kat Graham's character is also full of determination and stubbornness. Even if Bonnie is crippled emotionally by the circumstances, fans might see her getting past everything.

In fact, certain fans have also speculated that Bonnie will go off on her own to save Enzo and Damon. However, it will be up to Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice King) to stop her from making a deadly mistake.

"I feel like knowing that she is feeling ready to move on and say goodbye to Bonnie, now it's my challenge and the writers challenge to do right by that," Julie Plec told the Nerdist regarding Graham's announcement. "We have a year to do it so I'm excited to come up with all the different ways that her character can say goodbye."

Stay tuned for updates on Bonnie Bennet, Damon Salvatore, and the rest of the characters of "The Vampire Diaries" here.
