The finale episode of "Game of Thrones" season 6 showed Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) finally ascending to the Iron Throne after the deaths of Joffrey and Myrcella, and Tommen's suicide in the wake of the obliteration of the Great Sept of Baelor.

Most recent spoilers suggest that the Mad Queen will brutally die at the hands of either these four characters: Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to feature an intense battle between the Queen of Dragons and the new Queen of the Iron Throne. However, it remains unclear if Daenerys will have the capacity to kill Queen Cersei given her lack of vendetta against her.

With this, Winter is Coming speculated that Arya Stark, the youngest daughter and third child of Lady Catelyn and Lord Eddard Stark, will presumably kill Queen Cersei for her part in the execution of her father and the demise of Lady, one of the six dire wolf pups of the House Stark. Since "Game of Thrones" season 2, Cersei Lannister has been on Arya's death list.

Talks about Tyrion and Jamie Lannister killing the new Queen started after a prophecy featured in the show's fifth season. There, a prophecy predicted Queen Cersei's younger brother will brutally kill her.

Despite the fact that Tyrion has the motive to kill Queen Cersei considering how she tormented him before, it is worth noting that the former Lord Commander of the Kingsguard is a few minutes younger than the Mad Queen.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lena Headey stated something regarding the character who will most likely kill Queen Cersei in "Game of Thrones" season 7. The 42-year-old English actress said that Arya and Tyrion will probably kill her character.

"Yes, the prophecy finally comes true. Which is horrible," said Headey. "Yet at the same time, she has her greatest moment of triumph. She gets rid of all her enemies, that she knows of anyway."

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to hit the airwaves in summer 2017.
