From the physical design perspective, among the three smartphones, the Microsoft Lumia 950 is the tallest, widest and densest, followed by the Samsung Galaxy J5, then the Sony Xperia Z5.
The Lumia 950 has the biggest screen size, followed by the Galaxy J5, and then by the Xperia Z5. Both the Sony and the Samsung phone have similar screen resolutions, but much lesser than the Microsoft Lumia 950 model.
Looking under the hood, Microsoft Lumia 950 is powered by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, whereas the Samsung Galaxy J5 is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and the Sony Xperia Z5 is fuelled by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. The Sony Xperia Z5 has the faster CPU speed followed by Microsoft Lumia 950 and then by the Samsung Galaxy J5.
Microsoft Lumia 950 has the highest RAM capacity among the three smartphones .The Sony Xperia Z5 has the second place followed by the Samsung Galaxy J5.Both the Lumia 950 as well as Sony Xperia Z5 has similar expandable storage options and internal storage but greater than the Samsung Galaxy J5 model.
Looking at the battery capacity, the Microsoft Lumia 950 tops the charts followed by the Sony Xperia Z5 and then by the Samsung Galaxy J5 model. The Sony Xperia Z5 remains the only smartphone among the three to have a non-removable battery.
Sony is well known for its camera specs and tops the camera combo as per Mobile Phones Compare. The second place goes to Microsoft Lumia 950 followed by the Samsung Galaxy J5 model.
The Sony Xperia Z5 is the only smartphone among three which does not support FM according to NDTV Gadgets. Among the three, The Samsung Galaxy J5 is the only smartphone which supports Dual-SIM.
All the three have strong features. Shutterbugs would love the Sony Xperia Z5 compared to other two smartphones. The Microsoft Lumia 950 has strong features and the Windows-based smartphone might have admirers. The Samsung Galaxy J5 supports Dual SIM and has good features.
