Android phone manufactures leave no stones unturned when it comes to their flagship devices. This is exactly the case of One Plus 3, Google Pixel XL and Huawei Mate 9 Pro. With so much to offer from One Plus, Google and Huawei, buyers are resorting to expert opinions before buying a handset. Let's do a technical comparison of the trio.

The One Plus 3 and Google Pixel XL are currently available while Huawei Mate 9 Pro hasn't been released yet. 

The User interface of these phones comes with stunning HD resolution coupled with a huge 5.5" AMOLED capacitive touch screen in all the three phones. Google Pixel XL and One Plus 3 have Gorilla Glass 4 protection over screen while there is no info regarding Mate 9 Pro. In terms of display, Pixel XL offers QHD display.

The flagship device offers the best in the market. It is evident with the processors used in the phones. Google Pixel XL and One Plus 3 comes with the latest quad-core Snapdragon 820 clocking at 2.15 GHz. However, it is rumoured that Huawei brand will come with octa-core Kirin 960 processor with a clocking speed of 2.4 GHz.

One of the premium features of flagship smartphones are the RAM inside it for multitasking. One Plus 3 take great care of it with its incredible offering of 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Google Pixel XL comes with 4 GB RAM and Mate 9 Pro is rumoured to feature the same.

However, Google Pixel XL comes with 32 GB and 128 GB internal storage with no microSD slot. As per the reports, Mate 9 Pro will be launched in 64 GB and 128 Gb variants. It will offer microSD support in Sim 2 slot.

Google Pixel XL buyers can cheer for the unlimited storage offered by Google for photos and videos.

The selfie lovers will capture their cupid moments with 8 MP front snappers in the trio smartphones. However, the rear camera of Mate 9 Pro is rumoured to be the best among all with dual 20MP+12MP coupled with dual LED Flash. Google Pixel have 12 MP rear camera with dual LED flash while, One Plus 3 shines with LED flash and 16 MP back camera.

The Pixel XL's 3450mAh battery and One Plus 3's 3000mAh battery is enough the power the smartphone. However it is rumoured that Mate 9 Pro would come with a bigger 4000mAh battery. Additionally, there  is fingerprint sensors embedded in these three phones.

Goole Pixel comes with latest Android 7.1 and Google Assistant, while One Plus 3 is running Android 6.0 with further upgrade in future. Mate 9 Pro is expected to come with Android Nougat 7.0.

Summing up, Google Pixel has better resolution and latest Google feature while One Plus 3 comes with more RAM. So far, Mate 9 Pro appears to fares ahead in terms of camera, storage and battery. However, it will be confirmed after release.
