The latest trade rumors suggested that the Indiana Pacers might enter a deal with the Sacramento Kings before the trade deadline involving the Pacers' shooting guard Paul George and the Kings' center DeMarcus Cousins.

Sports Rageous reported that the Indiana Pacers are keen on upgrading their roster in order to provide a tough competition to other teams in the Eastern Conference like the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks. Reports claimed that in order to rebuild their team, the Pacers might trade George because of his injuries and thus, is continuously missing from their core lineup in the current season.

It is stated that bringing Cousins in exchange for George will help the Indiana Pacers to enhance their offensive and defensive skills, which in turn, will help the team to put up high scores on the board.
