NBA Trade Rumors: Indiana Pacers To Swap Paul George With Detroit Pistons' Reggie Jackson?

The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons might a trade deal before the deadline. Reports suggested that the Pacers might send their small forward Paul George to the Pistons in exchange for point guard Reggie Jackson and center Andre Drummond.

Yahoo Sports reported that the Indiana Pacers team is planning to rebuild their team and thus, bring in players which will prove as talented assets in the future. Adding Jackson and Drummond is expected to help the Pacers to further enhance their shooting skills, which will help the team to improve their ranking in the Eastern Conference.

In order to seal the deal with the Detroit Pistons, the NBA trade rumors suggested that the Indiana Pacers might also send their point guard Monta Ellis. However, few reports hinted that the Pacers might not give away their talented asset Paul George. So, it still remains to be seen whether the team goes ahead with the trade scenario or not.

On the other hand, the rumored trade deal is also touted to be beneficial for the Detroit Pistons. It is stated that adding George and Ellis will help the Pistons to improve their defensive and shooting skills in the frontcourt. It is stated that the duo will aid the team to put up high scores on the board and thus, provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

Besides, few reports suggested that the Detroit Pistons might have to also send power forward Tobias Harris, shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, small forward Stanley Johnson, and three first-round picks along with Jackson, and Drummond to pull off the deal with the Indiana Pacers.

However, there is no official word on the rumored trade scenario involving Paul George and the Detroit Pistons' players. So, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
