With the success of its previous installments, "Star Wars Episode 8" is considered as one of the most anticipated movies next year.  Although it has been seen in different generations already, fans still can't predict the twist and turns of the "Star Wars" franchise.

One of the most talked about things in the upcoming "Star Wars" film is who will carry the lightsaber of Luke Skywalker. As recalled, Skywalker lost his hand while fighting against Darth Vader. Together with his arm, Luke Skywalker also lost his lightsaber.

In the "Star Wars: The Force Awakes" movie, Skywalker's lightsaber was found in Maz Kanata's chest. After seeing where the lightsaber is, questions were all over the web on how did it take place in Maz's place when it was just last seen in Cloud City.

According to Movie Pilot, Luke Skywalker's lightsaber is speculated to be held by Kylo Ren before it reached to Maz Kanata. It is possible that Ren was able to acquire the saber through a trade with a prosperous man. After which, Maz's retrieved the lightsaber during the fight between the Knights of Ren and the mysterious "Seven."

Reports say that Skywalker will have incredible skills that will set the fans in shock. There are even speculations that he will be able to bring down the Star Destroyer using his new acquired powers, Morning Ledger reported.

Expectations are high that the upcoming "Star Wars" installment will surprise its fans with new amazing visual effects. A report says that Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker in the movie, shared that some of the scenes which have special effects in the film turn out to be very realistic.

As of now, the filmmaker behind "Star Wars Episode 8" haven't released any official revelations on what to expect from the movie. It is set to be released on December 15, 2017.
