The Alvarez Empire Arc goes on as "Fairy Tail" Chapter 511, entitled "Hunger Hell," shows the start of the fierce battle between Larcade and Sting.

After arriving in the battlefield and simply eating the enemy's initial attack, Sting asks Larcade on why he has the same smell as Natsu. Lector and Yukino later informs him that Larcade is related to both Natsu and Zeref, but it made Sting confused.

He then stated that if that description is true, Larcade wouldn't have the same stench as Natsu because Natsu's stench is different from his brother, Zeref. Furthermore, he argues that siblings and children have different scents, so Larcade smelling like Natsu does not make sense to him.

Larcade therefore declares, based on what Sting smells, that Natsu is Zeref's son and not his older brother.

The shield of Spriggan launches a surprise attack but Sting devours it, telling him once again that any magic affecting light would not affect him. Sting attacks Larcade with a Holy Ray that injures Larcade. Sting then appears in from of him and charges a Holy Nova, sending Larcade crashing to the ground.

The clash then provokes Larcade to use Soul of the Forbidden Meal, which is a form of starvation magic. The spell made Sting, and later everyone hungry. Larcade then throws his cross to the White Shadow Dragon Slayer's chest, making him weak. Lector calls out to Sting but he soon sees everyone as meat at attempts to eat him.

The effect of starvation later affects everyone as they try to eat each other to death. Sting then recovers and knocks everyone to snap them out of it.

Rogue then appears via the Territory magic for a timely backup, giving the remaining of his magic to Sting as the Dragon Slayer gets his power recharged.

As the chapter ends, Sting tells Larcade that he cannot withstand his stench, while Larcade states he cannot stand a weakling like Sting still breathing. At the last panel, Larcade prepares a spell.

Sting and Larcade's battle will carry on as "Fairy Tail" Chapter 512 gets released on November 30. Stay tuned for the next chapter.
