Samsung C-Lab to Introduce New Ideas for CES 2017; Health-Related & Children Products The Next Step
Dannel Picaccio Camille Perez LozanoSamsung Creative Lab or C-Lab has some new features to look out for in the future of technology, some of which may not even be in any way affiliated with what Samsung has been known for. That being said, patrons of the Korean brand may want to take note of these reportedly proposed prototypes.
The diversifying idea of C-Lab began back in December of 2012, working as a business program with the will to cater innovations by Samsung employees within corporate culture and the like. The work done in the program is not limited to technology itself, but to as many potential aspects, as well.
Lumini
Recent reports from the Samsung Newsroom state that in the coming year, C-Lab aims to launch new projects coming from the success of 2015 at CES 2017 event to be held at Eureka Park. One of these is the Lumini, a portable device that shows the possible skin problems to arise before they occur. After taking a picture of the face, the statistics will provide information on the likes of pimples, sebum, redness, wrinkles, freckles and pores, among others. From there, recommendations, consultations and remedies are given by the device.
S-Skin
Another is S-Skin, which is made up of a microneedle patch with a portable device that distributes curing components to the user's skin. It can also gauge the redness, melanin and hydration levels of the skin, giving ample skincare through LED lighting. The diversity of products are not limited to adult users. As per Slash Gear, there are also those made by C-Lab for the younger audiences.
Tag+ For Kids
The Tag+ device is one that gives children the chance to play with continuous possibilities, care of a small gadget that connects to toys together with a smartphone app via Bluetooth LE. With the choice of the kids to either long-press, click, bump or shake the smart tag device, there will be a particular reaction from the linked devices.
The world of technology sometimes comes up with the most over-the-top, creative and versatile ideas as the generations advance. For C-Lab, it only the beginning. Samsung still has more products lined up for consumers.
