'The Walking Dead' Star Michael Cudlitz Faces Lucille Once Again

"The Walking Dead" is halfway through season 7. With a rather shocking first episode, where Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun) died, it seems like things are turning around once again. However, before the show comes back, Cudlitz and Lucille get a little reunion.

Lucille is the "vampire bat" of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). It's the name of the barbed wire-covered bat that Negan uses as his main weapon. It was the same bat that he used to bash the head of two fan favorites.

Since that day, Cudlitz and Lucille have apparently separated ways. Well, it wasn't until this holiday season that the two finally had a mini reunion.

According to Comic Book, Cudlitz posted an Instagram photo with a rather odd Christmas ornament. In his hand was a miniature version of Lucille which he used to decorate his home for the Christmas season.

Cudlitz' character was first introduced on "The Walking Dead" on season 5. He instantly became a fan favorite. But, his death, alongside another fan favorite and an original character since season 1 Glenn's, shocked the whole world. Apart from killing fan favorites, the premiere was also rather controversial as it appeared to be too graphic for some people's taste.

Season 6 of "The Walking Dead" ended with the cliffhanger. For months, no information was leaked as to who was Negan's victim. When the first episode finally aired, it garnered millions of viewers and instantly became one of the most unforgettable premieres in TV history.

However, after the great success of the first episode, ratings for "The Walking Dead" slowly decreased. According to The New York Times, the mid-season 7 finale only had 15.2 million viewers.

Sure enough, the number is incredible. Nonetheless, it fell by 3 million viewers from the equivalent episode from last year. The data was gathered by Nielsen included live watching, as well as three days of delayed viewing.
