Oculus Rift Talks VR Gaming Future, Two Years to Go Before Quality Games Surface

First things first, it us but proper to introduce these two VR resource persons. Both tech wiz started the big shot game developers Insomniac and Naughty Dog. Side by side, gamers saw release of top titles like "Ratchet and Clank," "Crash Bandicoot" and "Sunset Overdrive." Price is still a driving force in Insomniac but Rubin is now the head of content for VR headset Oculus Rift.
So both developers are intertwined in the new era that is VR gaming, Rubin especially being tasked by Oculus Rift to provide quality VR games. Price on the other hand, bought the idea of VR games as Insomniac released 3 VR titles for Rift headsets, Venture Beat reported. So, what could be the future of VR games after lukewarm reception this 2016?
Rubin took center stage during VRX event and spoke for the two about in-depth situation of VR gaming and what lies ahead. Remember that there are ups and downs in VR journey and not so many titles are sufficient reasons to make players jump into this new tech, Motherboard said. Rubin explained that VR gaming is in its infancy stage and the best is yet to come - give or take 1 to 2 years for VR to bloom.
Rubin said that everything to date are mere "testing the waters" but when VR gaming got its foothold, players will surely covet this hardware. Creativity, hardware adoption and big time games will start to pour in within the next 12 to 24 months, Rubin added.
Come to think of it, there are more than 50 titles in the launch library of Oculus Touch and most were well-received by gamers. Rubin and Price believe that VR gaming could present more, replete with quality titles in the coming year.
