Arnold Schwarzenegger made his debut as the host of the famous reality show, "Celebrity Apprentice." He replaces Donald Trump who has been the face of the show since its inception. Arnold is the new boss in the boardroom and to begin with the proceeding, he told all the contestants to address him as "Governor." Arnold Schwarzenegger has served as a Republican governor of California.

Arnold also replaced the famous Trump catchphrase "You're fired" with "You're terminated," based on his movie "Terminator" which made him a household name.

Arnold Schwarzenegger debut at "The New Celebrity Apprentice" has generated mixed reviews. As reported by The New York Times, Arnold showed "robotic professionalism" but was hindered by "cautiousness and rigidity".

"The New Celebrity Apprentice" will see Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger and supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks as advisors. Patrick is Arnold's nephew and an entertainment lawyer. Arnold seems to be following Trump's footsteps as the real estate mogul was often joined by Ivanka and Donald jr as advisors and guest hosts, as reported by Entertainment weekly.

In the "The New Celebrity Apprentice" Donald Trump's name appeared only in the closing credits and the show did miss him dearly.

Arnold subtly also took a dig at Trump. He said, "I'm the new boss. And I intend to be tough but fair." It appeared that the "Fair" was a shot at Trump. It is worth noting that Trump's stint as "The Apprentice" made him a famous international celebrity. At some levels, it immensely helped him in his election campaign. Will Arnold Schwarzenegger will follow Trump's path and run for president in 2020? Well, one can only speculate.

Among the celebrities participating this year in the "The New Celebrity Apprentice" are Vince Neil, Jon Lovitz, and Boy George who are competing to raise money for charities. Also seen on the show would be boxer Laila Ali, Former NFL player Ricky Williams, Brooke Burke-Charvet among others.
