The promo of "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 episode 14 shows that Zeb and Chopper brings a damaged droid back to base. The droid was found in Atollon wilderness. It was later found out that the droid is a new Imperial probe programmed to spy on and destroy rebels.

The trailer had a lot of announcements as described by Den of Geek.  "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 episode 14 promo also confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will finally reveal his rebels at the end of the half season. Obi-Wan Kenobi will be voiced by the veteran voice actor Stephen Stanton who also voiced Grand Moff Tarkin in the "Star Wars Rebels series." The teaser trailer for the upcoming episode was published last January 4, 2017, and is titled "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3- Mid-season Trailer (Official). It can be viewed on YouTube on the official Star Wars account.

"Zeb and Chopper bring a damaged droid found in the Atollon wilderness back to base, only to discover that the droid is a new Imperial probe programmed to spy on and destroy rebels," the synopsis of 'Star Wars Rebels' season 3 episode 14 read.

It can be recalled that after the midseason finale of the series, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has been out in theatres. The midseason finale episode of "Star Wars Rebels" was titled "Ghosts of Geonosis" and was split into 2 episodes: Episode 12 and 13 (part 1 and part 2 respectively).

According to Heavy, the last episode saw the ghost team heads to Geonosis to find a missing rebel team and during this mission, they came face-to-face with Gerrera. The episode also gave us a glimpse of the planet after the Clone Wars and following the last time the team visited.

"Star Wars Rebels" is expected to return with season 3 episode 14 on January 14, 2017, at 9:30 pm on Disney XD.
